AN98 Scope
The AN98 USB UVC endoscope on your phone: live preview, photos, MP4 recording, zoom and image rotation. Native C++ core.
An app for the AN98 endoscope and other USB Video Class (UVC) cameras (5.5 mm or 7 mm head, 6 LEDs, IP67). Plug the camera in through an OTG adapter, pick it from the list, and watch the live view. You can save photos to the gallery, record video to MP4 (the phone's hardware encoder), choose the resolution and frame rate the camera reports, and zoom, rotate, and mirror the image. If the camera exposes image controls, the brightness and contrast sliders work too; on the AN98 the LED brightness has its own wheel on the cable. A diagnostics screen shows the UVC descriptors, the detected modes, and stream statistics.
All UVC protocol handling lives in a native C++ core (Probe/Commit negotiation, MJPEG frame assembly, decoding). Data is read straight through USBDEVFS, because Android's public API does not support the isochronous transfers this camera uses. Photos are encoded with libjpeg-turbo. The app needs no account and no network; it sends nothing anywhere.
